Ltd., India's largest film studio, today announced that DHOOM:3, part three of producer Aditya Chopra and filmmaker Vijay Krishna Acharya's wildly popular action-thriller series, starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif & Uday Chopra, will debut in 13 IMAX territories on 37 IMAX screens beginning Friday, Dec. 20. DHOOM:3 marks the first Indian film to be released in IMAX® theatres and the widest non-Hollywood IMAX debut ever. For its opening weekend, the film has sold out every Indian IMAX screen that offers advanced tickets.

DHOOM: 3 will debut Dec. 20 in select IMAX theatres in India, North America, the UK, Australia, Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait, Netherlands and Qatar; Dec. 25 in New Zealand; Dec. 27 in South Africa; and Jan. 2 in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The companies announced a multi-picture agreement in March 2013 to release three films in IMAX, including DHOOM:3 and Paani.
