I recently bought Cathay Pacific one way open ticket from HK to Manila departure date 1 April, 07. (but not vaild on 4-9April and the ticket expiry on 30 Nov 07). It cost $970 + 226 Tax = $1196.
My maid told me that she's going home for good after her 2-year contract, so should I just give her a one-way ticket or $1000 (just found out that a return ticket for Manila in May is less than $1000 from the Cebu Pacific website)? Can anyone advise? Thanks!
iamchowchow: Thank you for your input! I can go ahead and purchase the e-ticket online at Cebu Pacific's website then. It's so much cheaper to buy it online. I hope my maid can check-in OK without my credit card copy la.
I hope it's ok la. At least my last bun didn't come back because she couldn't get on board (that is, assuming she was really going back to the Philippines on the date of the ticket ... )
Cebu Pacific does not need any credit copy for sure. I & my friends have used them 3 times. And everybody pls note change date is ok, subject to $150 fee.
That is the cheapest so far I found out.
One way : $300 (Fuel & tax surcharge extra)
