- Edited 2 days agoVery nice color variant pressing to compliment the cover art. Glad to have this in my collection. However, I noticed my copy came with a slight buckle on both disc. It doesn't change the sonics but just wanted to point that out as it is unsightly to look at while the record is spinning on the platter. As for the sound, it is clean with nice dynamics in the mid and low range. Oh that crackle and pop you hear on certain songs? That was added as an effect and not actual surface noise. I referenced this to the CD version and it was on there as well. Foxy did her thing on this album and broke barriers for female rappers. I always felt like the Ill Na Na album is a prequel to the collective supergroup The Firm with its heavy dosage of mafia themes.
- This pressing is my favorite from this years RSD. I can’t believe how the record matches the album artwork so perfectly. Great sound too and flat.
- The most stunning pressing from this year's Record Store Day in my opinion. Disc 2 is slightly more green than disc one. It looks like foamy ocean water lol. My only complaint is that it could've came with an insert, printed inner sleeves, or even a gatefold.
- This vinyl looks phenomenal. Matches the cover perfectly. I need it.. Been waiting for a reissue for years!
- Edited 9 days agoSounds phenomenal on my fluance rt81 and pioneer csr590’s. Clean beautiful ocean blue wax. This is how you do an anniversary release. Only thing that could have made it better would be printed inner sleeves. I don’t mind minuscule things like that so not a bother to me. It sounds great and is sure to be a grail down the line.
