Robert E. Adler

Hazlet - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert E. Adler, of Hazlet, on September 5, 2021. Bob was born and raised in Hazlet, moved to Rahway, then moved back to Hazlet. Bob was an avid Mets fan, loved his garden and his cats. He was always the life of the party and enjoyed life to the fullest. He could always make you laugh.

Bob worked at the Jacob Javits Center in NY for over 30 years as a Journeyman Carpenter and a long-standing Union member (Local 20) before retiring two years ago.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his sister Lillie Adler McKenna and partner John Christensen; brother Dennis Adler; aunt Gloria Ringwald; cousins Debbie Ringwald & husband Ron, Brian Ringwald, Donna Ringwald and Karin Konrad; nephews; great-nieces and life-long friends. Also cherishing his memory is his best friend and the love of his life Patty.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 11th from 2 to 5 pm, with a service at 4:30, at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ. Masks are required for all those attending.
