Lance, a teenager, dreams to be a secret agent when he is suddenly in the middle of an hacker intrigue which aims at an international environmental congress. Lance gets in possession of a computer access card one of which the hackers are in urgent need of for their operation. Lance begins to play with the hackers, seeing his dream come true.

A good film to just list its qualities:
* Sub-Hackers-level computer graphics for its hacking sequences
* Bad computer science
* Great character actors with nothing to work with
* Bad lead actors with nothing to work with
* More uses of the word "shit" than I expected from what at first seemed like a kid's movie
* A soundtrack that rips off every 80s teen and action movie
* Nonsensical plot that doesn't need to make sense
* Alligators
* Bright colors and Miami Vice outfits
* A gesture toward some kind of environmental sympathies early on that just gets lost very quickly
* Glorification of the CIA
Not worth your time unless you're set on being a completionist with trans-directed cinema.
Corey Haim at one point drives by an entirely lit up marquee sign for BATMAN RETURNS. They then cut, to show this marquee again. Great scene.
Been watching a bunch of really shit half a star movies recently, but at least they were so bad they're hilarious. This was just plain boring and bad. Expected a lot more from the title and the poster.
Starts out slow, but once Corey Haim shows up all cool, beating up bad guys with Nicole Eggert, this movie slides right into my wheel house.

Well you never know what a vcrcheological expedition will turn up with, recently I acquired a video store test screener of the kiddie secret agent flick The Double O Kid and scifi Abraxus. For those not familiar with test screeners they are copies of movies that a distribution company sent to video stores in hopes that they would buy a copy or two to rent out, it play's the entire movie with an occasional "not for rental or resale" message that pops up in the bottom of the screen. Test screeners are one of my favorite things to collect (technically I only have a few) just for the nostalgic aspect of the video store era
But enough of that lets…
Incredible. This movie can only be explained by the direct to video market and maybe lots of cocaine.
I didn't finish this. I couldn't do it. If any movie had the potential for a fun night watching a bad movie, this one did. The budget is too low, the direction is lifeless, and the sound mix seems to have been completed by volunteers from a technical school. Boring. Pointless. Not even an interesting cast (John Rhys-Davies, Corey Haim, Brigitte Nielsen, Wallace Shawn, Karen Black, Ann Francis) can save this shit.
Over-the-top, ridiculous, silly but still entertaining and offbeat teen spy flick stars Corey Haim as a kid who gets in over his head when he finds himself in the middle of a high-risk situation involving a cyber-terrorist (Wallace Shawn, in an annoyingly unpleasant performance) who has plans to blow up a plane. Along the way, Haim meets a roller-blading hottie who falls for him and becomes his spy partner, as they dodge danger and try to thwart the bad guys. Brigitte Nielsen plays Shawn’s girlfriend and criminal associate, and she brings a lot of charisma to this low-budget production. The effects are atrocious, and the script is underwhelming, but it’s still harmless fun.
