Pete and the All-Stars would split from Lee Curtis and, after signing a
record deal with Decca Records, be renamed The Pete Best Four. Pete would continue to perform and record music well into the next century. His shows are very entertaining. These days, he performs as The Pete Best Band. I would recommend attending one if you get the opportunity. I met Pete in 2005 and he was a very friendly and personable fellow.
