That'll do us. I think we all need a lie down.

  2. 'This is the club I love' - Doolan

More from Partick Thistle boss Kris Doolan...

No fourth-placed team in the Championship has ever gained promotion to the Premiership via the play-offs, "I can see why," Doolan says.

"I thought we had enough in the locker to be the first team... but the longer the game goes, it gets tougher and tougher. My players gave everything, it's a tough one to take.

"We want to be up as quick as we can. We'll need to dust ourselves down but ultimately, I want success for this football club in whatever way, shape or form.

"I want people to be happy following the football club, because it is the club I love and I'm just gutted for everyone because it was all there for us and we just couldn't get it over the line."

  3. Post update

I was going to attempt to give you lot a recap of the match, but I'm not even going to try.

  4. 'We're over the moon' - Laidlaw

Goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw tells BBC Scotland that Ross County's "aim at the start of the season has been achieved".

"People had us written off," he says. "We were 3-0 down in the tie but it just shows the character of this dressing room... we've done it so many times this season.

"I'm delighted for everyone, we've worked so hard and now it's all paid off.

On his penalty heroics, he pays tribute to his goalkeeping coach Scott Thomson, who did "a lot of hard work".

  6. 'Everyone wanted Thistle up' - Mackay

    Sky Sports

Ross County manager Malky Mackay hails his side's determination to claw back from 3-0 down.

"We scored three against St Johnstone last week, we know we have goals in our team," he tells Sky Sports.

"Eleven v eleven today, we dominated the game. I just felt that as long as we got a goal, we would have a chance.

"Everyone wanted Partick Thistle in the Premiership, a trip to Glasgow rather than the Highlands.

"We're in a part of the country that is hard to recruit to, it's a rebuild every year, but we're still in the Premiership."

A "delighted" Roy MacGregor, Ross County chairman, tells BBC Sportsound, "I've always been an advocate of the play-offs... until we were in it."

    Simon Donnelly

Former Partick Thistle forward on BBC Sportsound

The game had everything, very similar to the World Cup final.

When I started my shift today, I did not expect to hear the Scottish Premiership play-off final compared to the World Cup final - but here we are.

  16. County 'never say die' - Sims

Ross County forward Josh Sims, scorer of the winning penalty, tells BBC Sportsound: "The never say die attitude of this County side throughout the season has completed the job today.

"We practiced penalties yesterday for a reason and just look at what it means to everyone here. Listen to these fans. I'm delighted for them and I'm just delighted to score it.

"This club means everything to the people around here. The fight and spirit of this team to claw it back, just look what can happen.
