Synopsis[]

One of Kitty's hostesses has fallen in love with a gambler, but one of the girl's old boyfriends has his suspicions.

Storyline[]

Suave and enigmatic gambler Marcus France falls in love with Long Branch hostess Boni Damon. France is curiously unwilling to marry Boni, though he is willing to risk death to protect her from the unwanted advances of vicious Tiller Evans (Timothy Carey), one mean plug-ugly who beats up his dancehall girl Boni (Virginia Baker). Then comes to Dodge, suave, well-dressed gambler Marcus (Cassidy) who takes an immediate liking to Boni; at the same time, Matt doesn't know whether to trust the slickster or not. One thing for sure, there's going to be trouble when Tiller finds out about Boni and Marcus. So why don't they just leave town before Tiller finds out. That's the puzzlement.

Goofs[]

Errors in geography

Antelope Stew? At the beginning, Chester wants to have the special, antelope stew. Antelope are not indigenous to North America. WRONG!!! PRONGHORN ANTELOPE WAS FAST ENOUGH THAT THEY’RE STILL ALIVE AND AMERICAN CHEETAH IS NOT!

Revealing mistakes

When Marshal Dillon is in his office, there is a bulletin board with wanted posters on it. It appears they didn't have enough wanted posters of different people as the poster for Tyler McKay was used twice.
