- Graham NPhiladelphia, PA8 contributionsIf you're planning a trip to Victoria Falls I highly recommend Simon and Africa Beast Safaris. We had originally just booked a Hwange day tour with Africa Beast, but Simon offered to provide transport to and from the airport and helped us book activities for the rest of the trip as well. We enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, the Gorge Swing, a Helicopter Ride, White Water rafting, and of course the Hwange Safari, all of which Simon coordinated for us and each was an incredible experience in and of itself. Each excursion is operated by a different provider, but Simon arranged everything for us to fit with our schedule. In addition to being a great local guide, Simon was consistently punctual and professional and a huge help with making the most of our trip to Vic falls. Right from beginning, both Brighton & Webster were quick to reply to any query to our satisfaction. Flawless execution, I would say. We all really loved the entire trip & got nice team of drivers or guides on the tour.
Of course at the Hwange game drive, we could not see much animals due to rains which was out of our hands still our guide, Lazarus, went extra mile to maximize the game viewing.
Vic falls was magnificent even though it rained very less this year.
Chobe day trip was excellent and all the transfers were smooth & nicely planned. The different operators you arranged were top class indeed.
Again thanks to you Webster & Brighton for making this a memorable trip. Our regards to Enock, Lazarus & all.

William was a great driver and guide and even stopped for some photostopps along the road.
The game drive was spectacular. As I was a solo traveller I joined with two other persons at the park which was really nice.
We saw lots of animals, lions with their calbs, zebras. Elephants crossing the road and lots of zebras and even buffalos.

It was truly one of the best experiences of our lives and the best choice we could have made!
Starting from the beginning, Tatenda was extremely reliable and responded to all of my emails right away. He answered tons of my questions and helped me customize and add additional days on to the tour so we could make the tour just how we wanted.
Then to the tour itself, many of the other tours on safari bookings only include game drives, we chose this tour because it had a ton of variety and were so glad we did! Not only did we see a ton of animals and natural landscapes we also got a chance to do multiple boat rides, cultural experiences and a helicopter ride! Plus the hotels and food included were excellent! They even set up a special honeymoon poolside dinner for us as a surprise for free! Everything was prompt and reliable and they really went out of their way to do everything we wanted. We definitely got value for our money on this tour.
But now to the best part of our tour was our guide Simon! Simon was more than just a safari guide, he also became a friend and an ambassador to Africa as a whole. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and explained not only the landscape but the history, culture, politics, and customs of all of Southern Africa. The warmth and humor of Africa totally shines through Simons personality and you can tell his passion for his job. We were picked up at the airport by Francis.
He was well presented, courteous, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and very professional.
We were taken to our hotel (rainbow falls, which was lovely), where we were greeted by Oscar, the Zambesi expedition tour manager.
We exchanged phone numbers and was told that Francis was available to take us wherever we wanted to go. Our trip was very well planned, from start to finish including a Zambesi boat trip (alcohol and snacks included) and Victoria falls. We asked Oscar to arrange for a helicopter ride over the falls which he arranged straight after our walk. (amazing views and highly recommend).
The transport to Botswana, also included a safari and a boat trip on the Chobe River.
The hotel was lovely, overlooking the Chobe river. (complete with baboons).
From there we went back to Zimbabwe to the Hwange game reserve. Another amazing hotel overlooking a waterhole.
Another safari where we saw Lions and Crocodiles, as well as other animals.
Back to Victoria falls for our last day before being picked up by Francis and taken back to the airport.
All staff were so friendly and welcoming.
All guides were included so no hidden costs there.

- Peter H1 contributionOK we did a custom 9 day tour (Vic Falls, Chobe, Maun, Okavango) not the 13 day tour. But the comments are the same... Falcon was amazing! Very professional and always fast to respond. We were coordinating groups from Sydney and Montreal with two different languages. No problem! We made lots of changes. No problem! We phoned their head office in Vic Falls for a chat. No problem! Our agent, Takudzwa, was wonderful. Highly recommended.
As for the trip... Victoria Falls was a little dry but still astounding. Maun and Okavango were in drought and very hot (42C). But still a good amount of game. Lots of lion. Recommend staying at least as far in as Chiefs Island. But the MUST DO was Chobe. We have done lots of game drives in Africa. This was astounding! Wonderful lodges, excellent games drives (land and water), so much to see! This was a trip of a lifetime. Simon booked accommodation, tours and travel, and either shepherded us himself or arranged transportation as necessary. We decided to book with Simon because he had great reviews, his quotation was very clear and he was responsive in all our pre-arrival communications. Our experience lived up to his excellent reputation and we loved our holiday at Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park. Simon was friendly and attentive with a great sense of humour, responding to our requests and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. My wife and I are very happy to recommend Simon and his company.
