Please trust me and spend whatever you must (and I know it's already expensive) to get yourself a better hotel room somewhere else. We paid $197 for this hotel for one night, and that is an absolutely ridiculous, obscene price for what you get. I wouldn't pay more than 120 for this place. In fact, we were just in Chicago for three nights in a gorgeous hotel by the river for $155 a night. How on earth they could charge so much for so little in this place is a mystery. Really needs a lot of time and money to make it halfway decent again. It was filthy, had living and dead bugs, a window wouldn't lock shut, and it just looked dingy in a very unnerving way. I always read reviews before I book hotels, so I was honestly shocked at how bad this place was. The so-called transitional housing situation wasn't an issue at all. The people were very nice, as were all the staff. But the place is absolutely aching for better housekeeping standards and needs much more money spent on fixing it up.

Room is depressing and smelled of smoke. Area is sketchy. At least only one night, no visible bugs, and bed was firm. Pillows were not firm. Having stayed at other comfort and quality inns, I certainly did not expect luxury but this was below expectations

The outside looks OK. The front lobby and reception area need a spruce up. I was given room 214 which is located right behind the ice and vending machine. It was really, really loud. So I went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room which she gladly did. Room 200. It has a smell of like it had been smoked into. Awful but bearable. The carpet is the room and throughout the hotel are disgusting. The room we were in carper needs a vacuuming. The bathtub has 2 holes that looks like it used to hold a metal bar for helping people getting in and out of the tub. Bed pillows are no bigger than a couch pillow. The TV had no tv remote and went to the front desk to get one just to get back to the room to find out that the only thing doing is turning the tv on/off. So no tv so far. The computer desk was really shaky like it needs replacement. The top of the Fridge was dirty with markings and the freezer part was totally iced over. Inside was dirty as well. There is ketchup splatters behind the fridge as well. The rubber seal around the door dirty. There are broken door windows and no elevators if you need to get to upper floors. So make sure you travel light. The only good part was that the receptionist was extremely helpful. Thanks to her.

Stayed literally 20 minutes. The laundry hanging out on the railings should have been the first warning. The place is a run down dump. The room was gross, furniture missing pieces and held together with duct tape. I was afraid of what i might catch sleeping in the bed so I gathered my belongings and split. Travel a lot for business and I I wouldn't let my dog stay in this hotel. Called the Best Western on Boston Post rd like 9 miles up the road the rates were better and it was very clean.

I checked in on March 28, 2021. The moment I walked in there was a woman who had her stuff spread all over the lobby and in everyone's way. Her chihuahua tried to attack my service dog several times while staff at the front desk just stood and watched. I had three rooms in ten minutes and all of them smelled so badly of marijuana that I co

This hotel is absolutely gross! Blood on the walls, centipede stuck to the ceiling, stained carpets, broken dryerand lamp shades, no hand soap, broken table leg. There was white flaky substance on the arm of the chair. There was hair in and on the edges of the tub. Children's stickers stuck to the walls, floor and appliances. Crayon colored in the drawers. Halls loud till all hours of the night. People were hanging their laundry over the rails of their balcony.

Wish I looked at reviews before booking this filty discusting hotel. First room had a toilet not flushed...chewing gum stuck on headboard. Phone ripped out with wires hanging. Mold everywhere. Grass not cut outside and pool covered with damage tarp and pile of garbage in center of tarp. Got moved to another room which was just as bad. Garbage on corridors lobby everywhere. I could not find another hotel in city and left at 4am. Even considered sleep in car. This dump should be shut down. Paid $190 plus. Going forward I will check reviews.

This place is an absolute dump. Lobby is dirty, elevator is filthy, and rooms are disgusting. There are no redeeming qualities in this place. And to top it all... the staff exhibited poor training and people's skills. And the manager is an incompetent nincompoop. AND... I tried to cancel my stay as soon as I went into the room. But I was told that I couldn’t cancel because the reservation was made by a third-party booking agency. Booking agency tried to get a hold of them but they didn't answer the phone. After a long while, booking agency gets a hold of them... they tell them the manager is the only one that can cancel the stay. Long story short, we only stayed one night but they charged me for the full stay. Currently disputing the charges! Terrible is too mild a word to describe this hotel and experience!

First room smelled like cigarette smoke. Asked for a different room and got one with no working A/C and the balcony screen door didn't close. Was supposed to stay 2 days...decided to leave after one....still billed for 2 nights. There is nothing Quality about this Inn. An absolute embarrassment to the chain.

This was the worst place I have ever gone to! We were attending a concert and just needed a place to stay overnight because we didn't want to drive late at night. It was so dirty! Walking up to the door, there were all these dirty hand prints coating the glass door. The furniture looked like it fell off of a salvage truck. It was all stained, tattered and beat up. The carpets were very dirty. Everything looked old and broken down. The place smelled awful. I realize people cook but it smelled of onions, peppers and cigarette smoke. People definitely smoke in these rooms! There were some sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot as well. Needless to say, my husband and I left and went to a Marriott a couple miles away! I've never had to leave a place because it was so dirty and this is the visible part we could see. I can only imagine the bacteria and germs I couldn't see! This place should be shut down ASAP!

How close are you to shopping/eating places? How close to Worcester State University?
Answer from Constantino T
May 2016 |
You are very close to the Lincoln Plaza on Lincoln Street and could practically walk it. The street the hotel is on joins Lincoln Street. The mall has a Japanesse , Mexican, and Italian restaurant in it along with Target, Barnes & Noble and a couple of small eating places. Also in the close area is a McDonalds and a supermarket. Worcester State is on the other side of town, I would guess about 6 miles.

Hello Larry: WE do not have a shuttle but we do have cab companies that we work with closely and we can provide train information for the Worcester train station. It takes about 1.5 hours from Worcester to downtown Boston on the train. Its a great ride on the weekends.
