What do pandas eat?
Pandas survive almost entirely on bamboo and play a critical role in the bamboo forests of the Yangtze Basin in China by spreading seeds as they roam, increasing vegetation growth.

Which other species share panda habitat?
Panda habitat is one of the most biodiverse of any ecosystem in the world and critically important for other threatened and endangered species, including golden snub-nosed monkeys, takins, red pandas, and snow leopards.

What do we also protect when we protect pandas?
By protecting pandas in the wild, we’re helping conserve the broader landscape, for the people and wildlife that depend on it.
