Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald They seem to be caught in a loop composed of a never-ending series of quarrels reliably followed by make-up sex shot in languorous close-up and accompanied by anodyne pop. Rated: 2/5 Oct 22, 2021 Full Review Caroline Siede AV Club Though After We Fell aims for the scintillating eroticism of a lithe young couple risking getting caught with some semi-public hot tub sex, the whole experience is more akin to taking a lukewarm bath in a swimsuit. Rated: D Oct 18, 2021 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian Should come with a warning to viewers: contains extremely boring sex. Rated: 1/5 Oct 18, 2021 Full Review Lauren Veneziani DC Film Girl Director Castille Landon brings what the After fandom loves into this romantic and fiery film led with committed performances from Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. Libby C "After We Fell" continues the captivating saga of Tessa and Hardin with heightened drama and emotional intensity. With strong performances and compelling character arcs, the film delivers an engaging and satisfying installment in the "After" series, leaving audiences eagerly anticipating the next chapter. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review AMY A Don't listen to critter reviews and yes I know I wrote critter!!! They are so far off on this one. Make sure to start with after which is the first movie. You will not be disappointed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Lou T After We Fell continues the After franchise by delivering new ways for our lovesick leads to fall apart. Though audiences have endured 2 full-length feature films, After We Fell remains consistent by mostly recycling old plot points. With some new 'surprises' popping up throughout, the After series is never short of convoluted drama at every turn. While reconnecting with her father, troubled Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) foolishly falls back into her relationship with the emotionally unstable Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). Now both dealing with daddy issues, the pair explore their past, while struggling with their future. Though every other character watches this embarrassing relationship progress, the leads inexplicitly cling to their toxic instability. Shortly after watching this, I could not differentiate it from the past 2 installments and found myself struggling to remember which film had which arguments and which break-ups were caused by whose disloyalty/honesty. After We Fell holds a very rare honor by barely sticking with me and remaining indiscernible from the rest of the series. This truly belongs in the Sewers of Cinema. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review SkyRo P This is the point in the movie where everything goes haywire, veering off a cliff into confusion, leaving you wondering what you're even watching. Felt like a repetition without the depth of a storyline, filled with plot holes and rushed scenes that felt forced. If you're going to commit to a franchise, then commit wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, this installment falls short, making it the weakest link in the trilogy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/19/24 Full Review Amante V My life is better now!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Abbie P - Plot was all over the place - constant bad sex scenes - worst After film - terrible acting ( GCSE drama performance) - storyline didn't make any sense - isn't romantic it's just really cringe - don't bother to watch it - scenes go from sex to argument back to sex to another argument and back to sex so on - Hardin isn't a bad boy he's just a possessive twat Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
