Maninee De on her separation with Mihir Mishra: Marriage has its ebb and flow
Maninee De and Mihir Mishra's relationship has hit a rough patch after 15 years of marriage.
Television actors Maninee De and Mihir Mishra, who have been married for more than 15 years, are currently living separately. The couple had tied the knot in 2004 in a private wedding ceremony.
When India Today Television got in touch with Maninee, she replied, "Like any relationship, marriage has its ebb and flow. Two people evolve at different levels and there comes a time when their paths diverge. For me, marriage is very sacred and I will as always maintain my dignity. 15 yrs is a long time, we went through ups and downs but our bond kept us together. I wish Mihir Misra the best. I request the media to be kind and let us heal."
Maninee and Mihir met at a common friend's party and it was love at first sight. The couple ended up marrying each other within a week of knowing each other.
This is Maninee's second marriage. She has a 21-year-old daughter, Dainoor, from her previous marriage.
Both Maninee and Mihir are popular faces on television. Maninee has been a part of shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, CID, Diya Aur Baati Hum and Haiwaan, among others. Mihir, who rose to fame with Sanjivani, was last seen in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
