My Microsoft account is locked, without explanation. This is a mistake.

My Microsoft account is locked. I cant use Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, i cant access important data.

Microsoft e-mails "serious violation" of microsoft's terms. This is a mistake.

How to get my account unlocked?

Rest assured, you could trust cloud service, whenever you encounter such problem, you could contact us for assistance. In general, this kind of problem might occur after you delivered certain emails by accident and they were regarded as violating the Microsoft Services Agreement, to unblock it, you could try below steps:

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com and sign into your Microsoft account.

2. Enter your phone number to request the security code.

3. After you received the security code text, enter the security code into the web page.

4. Change your password and unlock your account.

I cant do anything but use that useless form, and get this standard useless email:

Microsoft disabled access to the account due to a serious violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement:

As stated in the Microsoft Services Agreement, you will no longer be able to access any Services that require a Microsoft account.

For any subscriptions associated with the account, Microsoft will immediately cease charging the credit card on file for recurring charges.

My account has been locked for over two months. As far as I can tell, it was due to the Samsung Cloud migration to Onedrive. I have checked, double checked, created new onedrive accounts and re-uploaded my data with no lock. So I can only assume there was some mistake, but the form at aka.ms/compliancelock is zero help. Always coming back that the account was closed for serious violation. I know there is nothing that would be an outright violation, and anything else requires using the service to "Publicly display" or "share", which I had definitely not done.

I find it shocking that an account that has existed for over 20 years, with not a single compliance issue, with thousands of dollars of digital goods and services attached to it, can have support this poor.

I feel you guys,

Mine was locked back in December, I sold my series x console on the back of this!

I took this to Twitter who escalated my issue to someone else, they seemed helpful and, when I said that all I wanted was my xbox gamer profile back he said that I could have it once I proved the account was owned by me...which I did, only for him to then tell me that he can't do it and that he made a mistake in telling me otherwise.

I'm still at a loss as to what it is I've done wrong, and I'm still trying to find out.

What is most shocking of all is the fact that Microsoft just tell you to make another account! Surely, if what I have done "wrong" is so awful they wouldn't want someone like me having an account with them at all!

The email account is 20 years old, with no previous violations, the xbox account over 14 years old and I've lost it all. I had xbox live ultimate paid for all the way until July 2022 which is gone. I now cannot access my fifa ultimate team as EA link the account to your gamertag. I've lost more than just money, I've lost all faith in Microsoft.
