15 Hard Lessons Boomers Learned Over Time That Gen Z Shouldn’t Ignore

As we grow older, our time becomes our most precious currency. Understanding the value of time and the benefits of hindsight is incredibly enlightening.

As we age, it becomes more apparent that we need to prioritize meaningful relationships and experiences over fleeting distractions in our technological age. Our generational divide may seem big, but at the end of the day, we are connected by our shared human experience and a desire to leave behind a better world.

Here’s a glimpse into some of the most important revelations from the boomer generation that we wish we had appreciated earlier.

Other people’s advice can be helpful. However, when making important decisions, you know yourself better than anyone else, so trust your instincts and follow your heart.  You never know what exciting journey it will take you on next.

Now more than ever, it’s important to connect with nature. As we get older, we tend to get stuck in our routines, especially when we’re working. Set aside time to reconnect with yourself and the great outdoors and remind yourself of what’s important in life.
