A Life of Deception
Damn, these twisty, stupid TV movies are my SHIT!
While Emmanuelle Vaugier is a serviceable lead and incredibly easy to rally behind, the fun, if campy, beginning is squandered by uneven acting from some supporting players and an astonishingly convoluted finale. Unfortunately, not as preposterously entertaining as other made-for-TV movies and these various faults stop Washed Away (or as I know it, A Life of Deception) from being enjoyable, guilty-pleasure cinema and more, just a recoil-worthy cringefest. Still, if you're a sucker for bad, cheap TV movies, you can't do much better. Vaugier is the film's saviour.
i forgot to review this and it's upsetting me to have an empty spot in my diary so. i remember this and i'm certain it was awful.
