Hattie plot

Married comedy actors Hattie Jacques (Ruth Jones) and John Le Mesurier (Robert Bathurst) are the perfect couple with two young sons and legendary Christmas parties. All this changes when Hattie meets the charismatic John Schofield (Aidan Turner), whose son has died of leukemia. He comes to live with the couple, but soon Schofield is more jealous than Le Mesurier.
