We found this delightful gem by reading other reviews, and made a brunch reservation. We enjoyed the experience so much, we came back again the next day! The food was delicious, and balanced, and the service was friendly and attentive! Truly felt like we had traveled to France. Highly recommend the Forrestiere, which comes with a side salad and roasted potatoes, and a Kir Royal! The pastries were also amazing.

This was our first time at La Maison Navarre and we loved the atmosphere, food, and beverages. We definitely plan to go back! If there is no time to sit and eat, they also have great take-out.

The escargot were disappointing in appearance and lacking flavor. Foie gras was excellent with good baguette and fixings. The cassoulet seems assembled from different cooking of sausage, beans and duck rather than cohesive flavor of being cooked together

Server/service/and food was tremendous at Sunday brunch. Sat up in wine bar at small high top which provided a full view of the entire restaurant. Table a little small but added to the overall ambiance. Chef did a fantastic job of preparation and presentation and the food, of course, was delicious. Purchased some fine French cheese from the retail section of the restaurant before we left. Good wine selection for purchase as well. Will definitely return

We had not eaten at the Wine Bar in a long time, but are determined to remedy that mistake. The cooked food is excellent, the wine list is short but well curated. The prices are very low considering the quality and the serving staff are friendly and professional.

We enjoyed our Easter brunch very much! They accommodated us when we showed up with one more person in our party and I didn’t feel rushed. I like the menu and the food was expertly prepared and delicious. My one picky thing is when the server brings out food and drinks and they ask ‘Who had the x?’ There are systems for that and I feel this place is more elevated than a diner where you can get away with that. It interrupts the conversation flow.

Great little hidden gem, great for a taste of French cuisine ! Great wine and desserts too. Service was great. Check it out ! Open kitchen. Can chat with the chef if you are at the right table. We will be back again. Might become our weekly go to place

We sampled three different things and all loved our meals, enjoying the waffle base under each. The combinations were very tasty and our only comment was that the salad had maybe a bit too much of a vinegary dressing. but that was a small thing. we look forward to going back.

We had wanted to try a new/different place and we were very happy with our "discovery". Our server, Taylor, was wonderful. We had the mushroom soup and each one of us had an entree; all delicious. For dessert, we shared a tasty crepe suzette. Even the coffee was excellent.

We went for brunch. There was one person in the kitchen. Poorly cooked eggs. Food looked nothing like pictures. Expensive and small portions. Wait staff was good and coffee was good. I'd skip the food next time unless having pastries.

Very cute. Easy to visit. Chairs uncomfortable. Portions tiny. Eat before you go here to eat. Our $38 bottle of wine was pretty good. Dessert was underwhelming for a French patisserie.

One of the more unique places where I have ever had breakfast. Food is bistro French, expertly prepared. Reservations are a must for the “upstairs” section, which is the subject of this review.

The salade du jour (with greens, warm potato, bacon, walnut and blue cheese was delicious. The escargot were very tasty, but could benefit from a bit more butter to go with the very tasty baguette slices. My husband enjoyed his creamy chicken with mushrooms on jasmine rice. I had the boeuf bourguignon which was OK, but a little on the bland side. The cheese board selections looked amazing, but we were keen to have a meal. Will try out the cheese board the next time for sure. I would go back.

We were a group of older diners who like to converse and enjoy excellent food. Few restaurants now are suitable for lively conversation that all members of the group can hear. MN on the upper level for supper is JUST the right venue for a happy visit with truly good food. Fish cooked to perfection. Ditto on the duck. A salad to transport you to Burgundy or Provence on even the coldest night. All generations of customers were present at MN over the course of the evening. Down in the patisserie/wine bar area, every table was filled with small groups of people gathering for leisurely visits with each other. Limited menu for supper, but every dish met the expectations of the gourmet cooks in our group.

Fondue and Pinot Noir were perfect for a biting cold night. Very happy with our meal. It’s a tight space and the lighting is a bit on the bright side, but worth a revisit for the excellent food and kind wait staff.

This restaurant continues to be an absolute delight! Authentically French with delicious food, drinks, etc. We went for brunch, the four of us ordered omelettes because the French make them more expertly than Americans and we were delighted. The side salad and baby potato accompaniments were also delicious. We also picked up a few items downstairs after our meal to take home. My daughter, who has lived in France, adores this place.

More or less like sitting in front of a deli counter. Out waitress was fantastic and ended up comping us the fondue for 2. Cauldron could not keep cheese warm and the fondue was a disaster. For pastries and wine ok. Dinner, choose elsewhere.

We were delighted with our meal at La Maison Navarre. The food, especially the pate, was the closest I have come to what I enjoyed when I lived in Paris. We chatted with the chef, who filled us in on the dishes and her plans for future menus. All in all, a delightful experience.

Great find! The entrance is confusing as it’s a bakery and you go to the back and up some stairs to the bistro. The escargot,, leek soup, duck confit and haddock were all outstanding, but for me the star of the show were the entrees the haddock was cooked to perfection and the confit took us back to Paris . The service and our discussion with the chef made the night very memorable as I started telling patrons to order the Haddock - it’s perfect. You’ll see us again!

We love Maison Navarre, we usually stop in for a cappuccino and treat, but decided to make dinner reservations. We had the cheese fondue with a bottle of white wine. It was amazing! Service was excellent and the fondue was delicious. A great date night dinner. We had cortado’s and shared a financier cake with cranberry and pomegranate. Yum!
