Format:

13U D2: Teams will play 3 pool games (2 Saturday, 1 Sunday.) The top 2 overall seeds will advance to the championship. All other teams will receive 1 consolation game.

13U D1 (54/80): Teams will play 3 pool games (2 Saturday, 1 Sunday.) The top 2 overall seeds will advance to the championship. All other teams will receive 1 consolation game.

14U D2: Teams will play 2 pool games. The top 4 overall seeds will advance to the championship. All other teams will play 2 consolation games.

14U D1: Teams will play 2 pool games. The 8 pool-winners will advance to bracket play. All other teams will receive 2 consolation games.

Facility Rules and Expectations:

The Melissa Sports Complex and Zadow Park are turf fields. NO METAL SPIKES, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, OR SHELLED NUTS of any kind are permitted within these parks at any time. This applies to parents as well as players and coaches. Any spectator, or participant, in violation of these policies may be asked to leave. We are blessed with the opportunity to use these facilities and your cooperation with the above policies helps us greatly. 

Tournament Rules:

13U:

Time Limit: 1:45 or 7 Innings 

Run Rules: 15 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5

Lineups may consist of an EH, XH, and/or DH (P/DH is allowed.) 

All bats must be -5 or heavier.

14U:

Time Limit: 1:45 or 7 Innings 

Run Rules: 15 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5

Lineups may consist of an EH, XH, and/or DH (P/DH is allowed.) 

All bats must be -3 or heavier. 

Pitching Rules:

13U-14U: 

Daily Max: 95 (Pitchers may finish the hitter if they enter an at-bat with less than 95 pitches but must exit the mound immediately upon completion of the at-bat)

1-30 Pitches = 0 Day(s) Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)

31-45 Pitches = 1 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)

46-60 Pitches = 2 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)

61-75 Pitches = 3 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)

76+ = 4 Days Rest (Finish the hitter rules DO NOT apply)

In the event of multiple games in a single day, a player may pitch in a maximum of two games that day. The number of pitches they can throw in game two is determined by the daily max minus the number of pitches they threw in game one.

Ejections:

Any participant (coaches included), or spectator, ejected from a game will serve a 1 GAME SUSPENSION. Players may serve their suspension in the dugout; Coaches and spectators may not enter the facilities during their suspension.
