Senior Class Supports Center for Innovation, Endowment

During the spring of 2023, the Bolles Class of 2024 decided it wanted to play a part in supporting the new Frank R. Sanchez & Hope and Dana E. Fender Center for Innovation, resulting in the creation of a class-wide fundraiser led by the students.

Bolles senior class president Gabe Coleman ’24 spearheaded the initiative, working with his fellow senior class representatives to plan how they would raise the money for the gift throughout the 2023-24 school year.

On May 5, Coleman presented Bolles President and Head of School Tyler Hodges with a $1,000 gift toward purchasing indoor furniture for the Sanchez Fender CFI as a result of their efforts – a gesture that reflects The Bolles Way and reinforces the philanthropic mindset of this graduating class.

Bolles Assistant Head of Upper School Piper Moyer-Shad ’91 and Bolles Director of College Counseling Daphne Vagenas, who are faculty sponsors of the Student Council, joined Hodges at the construction site to thank Coleman and his classmates.

The Class of 2024 is also currently working toward the goal of a $50,000 endowment as a legacy gift to the School in their graduating year, with the Nimnicht Family of Dealerships generously offering a dollar-for-dollar match up to $25,000.

A big Bolles thank you to our seniors for their generous spirit! #BollesFamily #BollesClassOf2024
