Overall, I would say that my school is pretty good. Our sports are great and the Music and Arts department is probably the best in the state. However, there have been many instances where the administration has acted in a way that felt strict and unfair. I think I would like to see a major change in the administration that focuses on improving the general attitude toward school and learning.
I have had a great experience at Northport High School My school counselor is encouraging and supportive. All my teachers offer extra help when needed. The school is kept clean and there are tons of different clubs to join. Overall, I feel lucky to attend NHS.
The best part of my high school experience was the community. Everyone supported everyone in doing what they loved.
