We love this restaurant. Took a friend for his celebration. As always, the food was amazing. Not really fancy, but wonderful. The flounder was so moist and delicious. The meatballs are just like mama makes. Overall wonderful

Nice service. Good food. Enjoy the wine and the chicken !!!!! Cold a/c strong. Valet parking + tip. Didn’t have dessert as main dish was enough

Through the side door to the hot bustling kitchen tucked away in the corner is an air-conditioned private room that can accommodate 2-6 people comfortably (8 squeezed in). The service is impeccable, friendly and unpretentious. The Food is plentiful and 4/5 stars in quality. The opportunity for guests to prepare a custom pasta dish in the kitchen should not be passed up; as it is a very cool part of Damian's Chef Table experience.

Awesome service for pre and post show

The service was great. Went here before the show and they were able to get us in and out within the hour. Their shuttle service took us over to the show and picked us up right after. we had the shrimp appetizer, gnocchi and split the lobster and crab pasta. everything was so yummy. also had the house chardonnay and merlot. The rosemary lemon drop is to die for. Highly recommend for quick dining or let them know your not in a hurry.

Great New Year's Eve dinner

My husband and I went here for an early New Years Eve dinner and the service was outstanding! The menu was a 3-Course prix fixe for the Holiday. We chose the Sweet Potato ravioli and Lobster Bisque from the Antipasti section. The Lobster bisque served in the sourdough bread bowl was fantastic. The ravioli was good, but could have used a little more salt. We probably should have added the fresh Parmesan that was offered. For the main courses we chose the Fra Diavalo Pasta and the Snapper Veronese. The pasta was a generous portion of perfectly al dente linguine with the traditional spicy marinara sauce. It came with a large portion of lobster tail that was melt in your mouth delicious. The Snapper was excellent, and the spinach and butternut squash accompaniments were even better. We need to figure out how to cook spinach like that at home. The dessert selections were just OK. We had the Apple Tart which was more like a cheesecake with apples on top and the bread pudding which was tasty but a really heavy way to end the meal. We would have much preferred to forego dessert and order something else from the savory side of the menu, but the prix fixe holiday menu did not allow for this. I guess we will have to return soon for the full menu.

Reserved a table for 14 for company holiday function. Restaurant is beautiful ! food is delicious! Parking is nonexistent so valet is free. Excellent meal , beautiful desserts.

I would have given it a 4.5 . Lovely food, prepared well, and served nicely. Veal Picatta was beautiful and tender. All this said, it is a little pricey, but for a nice place it seems appropriate. I will be back.

Authentic Italian Food

The food at Damian’s is absolutely authentic. I have tried many dishes there, and have enjoyed each one. Start with the Shrimp Damian or the Italian Sausage in a rustic pomodoro sauce. Try the Fico ala di Maiale or any of the wonderful pasta dishes. If you are feeling adventurous, give one of their daily specials a try. Be sure to save room for dessert. The absolute best Italian Cream Cake I have ever eaten. Very moist and light, it dense and dry like most. The staff here is very knowledgeable of every dish on the menu. Many of them have been working at Damian’s for decades. They also have a very extensive wine list available by the glass or bottle, as well as a full bar.

Excellent dinner and off to the Theater

Had to take an earlier dinner reservation but it worked out fine. Gave us more time to enjoy a lovely dinner and a few glasses of wine. Dinner was superb...tomatoes caprese salad, two different fresh fish specials that were nicely prepared, and we shared infusion de dioccola dessert. Their shuttle service to the theaters is a wondeful touch and gets us to enjoy a nice dinner without having to race to the theater and fight for a decent parking spot. Kudos!

Outstanding meal and service. The only way to go if you are going to the theater. Free shuttle to and from make it the perfect evening. Every aspect of our meal was incredible. We will definitely be going back.

Dinner before a show at The Hobby Center

I really don’t know where to start, Damian’s is one of Houston’s best Italian Resturant. We wanted something very delicious and close to the theater district. We had lasagna, pasta with clams , two salads and wine. You really can’t beat the service and the food is amazing. Plus a free shuttle to the theater and return trip. If you’re going into the city before a show, game, or staying in the city for a group gathering, I highly recommend eating at Damian’s. Stay hungry amigos. El Gordo!

Delicious Italian food, great service, excellent value

While a little pricey, Damian's is absolutely well worth a visit. The food was fantastic - my wife said that the osso bucco that she had was the best she had tasted. The noise level was not overwhelming and indicative of people really enjoying themselves. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you. We will be back.

First visit and it was a great experience. Waiter and staff very friendly and courteous; great service. Food and drinks tasted great. Loved the table side Caesar salad. Would definitely go back!
