I have an old Blackberry Classic sitting around that i'd like to sell. However, it won't let me input my blackberry ID password in order to reset to factory settings. I'm assuming because blackberry turned off their servers a couple years ago. Any other work-around to get this device to reset to factory default settings?

I did have the device connected to wifi in the attempt of inputing my blackberry ID password, but that didn't matter.

First, grab the Z30 autoloader (it's also used for Classic) from here: https://mega.nz/folder/ERomDKaT#YYXwe5p2bUlm_4VW5VfTtw and download it to your PC. Unzip the file, attach your Classic with usb and run the file. This will wipe your Classic to a new state. Then follow all the steps here: https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb.../#post13625326

And if theft protection was on... might have to do the autoloader a few times to clear it.
