Hubby and I love Big Bus Tours, as it's a great way to see the major areas of cities, and we can go back to certain areas on our own, another time if we want to see an area we like, further. We enjoyed this 2 hour Paris tour, which includes both sides of the Seine River. We got the 24 hour pass, and we decided to get on the bus at the Eiffel Tower stop, stay on the bus, then get back off at the same stop. We got the extra Seine Rive Cruise ticket, and made our way to the location of where to get on that boat. The fellow that was selling tickets at the E. Tower stop, gave us wrong directions on where to get the boat. He told us twice (once at beginning of our bus tour, and again after our bus tour, as we double-checked the location), to head down the street, cross the bridge, as one gets it over on the other side. Well we did that, and headed down some stairs on other side, and waited and waited, and no boat showed up. We saw, back on side we were originally at, that boats were coming and going. We asked people, and they figured we were to go back to other side, so we did. We weren't happy with that fellow giving us wrong info, twice, as we got hot and tired hurrying-along quickly!! We waited in a line, with many others, in a winding line-up, under a covered waiting area. We waited and waited in this line, which was very tiring, standing for so long, after our extra walk. Our boat arrived, then it moved forward without any of us getting on! It was breaking down re. motor. We waited another 10 mins for another boat to arrive! Too long of a wait, in total!! We were glad to finally get on, and relax, to see the beautiful scenery. There were a bunch of school children on board, who screamed so loud when we went under every bridge along the river, and again going back. There were 21 bridges! The teachers and parents allowed them to do this, but it wasn't bothersome to us.
