Darren Till will make his professional boxing debut on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul.

Former UFC star Darren Till has officially been added to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard.

Till, who hasn't fought in the UFC since December 2022, will make his professional boxing debut on July 20.

He is set to face former world champion boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the undercard of Paul vs. Tyson.

The fight is scheduled for six rounds and will be contested at cruiserweight with a limit of 190lbs.

"I’m very happy to be a part of this event. Paul vs. Tyson is going to be one of the biggest events of our generation, and to make my professional boxing debut on it is brilliant," said Till.

"I’m very happy with my opponent. I’ve been a fan of his father for many years, and I’ve been a fan of Chavez Jr. too - he is a great fighter who I respect, but make no mistake about it, I am coming to knock him out in the first round. I am happy with where I am in life, and I am coming to make a statement on Saturday, July 20th in Texas."

The 31-year-old went on an MMA hiatus after suffering his third defeat in a row to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282.

His last win came against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 244 back in November 2019.

The Liverpool fighter has been training specifically in boxing since his UFC departure.

And he'll open his pro boxing career in a few months against Cesar Chavez Jr., who hasn't fought since his victory over David Zegarra in December 2021.

The Mexican, son of legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez, captured the WBC world middleweight title before surrendering it against Sergio Martinez.

The 38-year-old has shared the ring with the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Andy Lee and Anderson Silva.
