Seanchaí was a mysterious storyteller who traveled through space and time to gather forgotten heroic stories.[1]
Biography[]
Sometime after 1264, Jaskier found himself in trouble with Temerian troops. Seeing him as an ally for his role as the sandpiper who had helped get elves out harm's way, the Scoia'tael in turn attacked the camp to free the bard. However, this led to a fight between both parties and Jaskier was almost killed by a Temerian soldier when Seanchaí stepped in, stopping time itself and introduced herself in the form as a doppelgänger of Jaskier. After revealing she could shape shift, she teleported the two to a circle of standing stones and changing to the appearance of an elf.
She then revealed to Jaskier a lute and her reason for saving and bring him there: she wished for him to bring a story back to life: the long forgotten Story of the Seven, a misfit group who took on an empire 1,200 years ago. After revealing that they were the cause of the Conjunction of the Spheres and the first witcher, this piqued the bard's interest and she began to tell him of their story.[1]
