Now, let’s go on one by one.

1. Do kids need an e-visa to visit Vietnam?

Yes, if they are not eligible for Vietnam visa exemption, they are required to have a valid visa and identity paper to enter Vietnam. Luckily, you can apply for Vietnam evisa for kids.

2. When do children need to have separate Vietnam e-visa?

To answer this question clearly, let’s check the three cases below.

  1. Children under 14 years old and included in their parent’s or guardian’s passport DO NOT need a separate e-visa to Vietnam. When applying for e-visa online, the parent or guardian should indicate that they will be traveling with a minor who is included in their passport. In this process, the parent or guardian needs to provide the children’s photo (which should meet those Vietnam e-visa photo requirements) as well as their full name and date of birth.
  2. Children under 14 years old and have their own passport NEED to have a separate e-visa to Vietnam.
  3. Children over 14 years old also NEED a separate e-visa to enter Vietnam.

So, how to get a separate Vietnam e-visa for children in case it is required.

3. How to get Vietnam e-visa for children?
