This is a wonderful themed museum, packed with items from everyday Victorian life. Gustav Holst was born here and lived in the house until age 7. There are numerous items from Holst’s life, including his grand piano, family portraits, some examples of his music manuscripts and interesting videos to watch. It’s not a big museum as it’s contained within a relatively small middle class house from the period, filled with Victoriana. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. When we were there the Victorian range was lit, with biscuits and drop scones to cook and taste - the first time I’ve ever seen a Victorian range in use, (brought right up to date by using smokeless coal! ). Well worth a visit.

We had a great time! It was so informative and the gin was plentiful and delicious. The light lunch was really tasty and the quiz at the end of our visit rounded everything off nicely. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing experience. Huge fan of the 737-800 and I really do recommend it. Was bought as a Christmas present from my partner. The captain was really friendly thorough 10/10.

Thought we’d pop to the re-opening weekend of the Wilson as we were staying locally with friends. The place was buzzing and inviting and a breath of fresh air from the normal stuffy museum experience.

The old part of the gallery was closed due to building requirements but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the visit. The local historical information and artefacts etc were interesting as always, but enhanced by the connection with local arts and crafts history and the Arts and Crafts Movement (William Morris etc). There were also good . exhibitions relating to sustainable fashion and diversity. The archive room is also worth spending some time in, with lots of Edward Wilson info. There was interactive stuff for kids, and a great well priced restaurant on the ground floor. All in all well worth taking time out for a look.p

Pantomime night and what a beautiful setting.
From entering the main entrance, our tickets were easily retrieved at reception and we were greeted by the most friendly staff and volunteers.
We pre-ordered drinks for the interval and the bar staff were well organised and only too happy to help.
The lighting and music technicians did an amazing job as well as the pantomime cast with a well written 'Aladdin' accommodating adult puns within a child-centred performance.
Interval drinks were labelled and easily found and we giggled with the children about the first half which they were totally engaged in.
    Second half was no disappointment.
Massive shout outs to Wishy, Merlot and Aladdin, but the whole cast were superb.
The Playhouse is the most undersold venue in Cheltenham but will always be my first choice when visiting with young family and friends. It's an intimate community venue and you have stunning views from all seats in the theatre.
Well done again Playhouse, see you soon.

I came into jumpin fun over the weekend with my husband and my two kids. Decided to leave my hobby to it with the kids while I sat up in the cafe with a drink. Have to say the place seems super organised and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I must say one staff member in particular Mia, was super encouraging, my five and seven year old were rather nervous about jumping onto the airbag. I watched Mia give them a pep talk into trying the watch seemed daunting jump. It didn’t take long for Mia to convince them to take a leap of faith and it ended with smiles all around. Will definitely be returning again soon.

We went here on the last day it was open and we are so pleased we did. The owners are there and answer any questions that you may have. There are cakes and tea available to purchase in their garden and it was a lovely spot to sit and have a chat with other people. The highlight for us was Jenny Stringer (can be found at Instagram on jennyblockprintedfabrics) who was charming and very happy to chat. A couple of points to note, it's not a place that you can take dogs in my opinion but we left ours in the carpark (with windows open) which was very close. Do not use Google Maps to find it, it takes you to the wrong house and must be very irritating for the residents who live in this unconnected house. This is a real must in our view but make sure it is open first as it has very limited days that it is open.

Went to the playfarm for my sons 3 birthday, not a party, just mum dad and nan taking the boy.
Really clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Only down side was that the play sessions offered didn't reflect the same as Google, so we missed an hour that we still had to pay for

This is worth the walk out of town. Please make sure you check opening times so you are not disappointed.
There is a large indoor and outdoor area and normally a food truck is available.
There are a wide choice of beers principally on draft but do try their hand pulled if available.
    Also takeaway beers are available.

Excellent tour and tasting hosted by Battledown Brewery. Lots of delicious beer and generous ploughman’s platter served too. Roland and his team has everything in place to make the night very enjoyable whilst following all the COVID regulations.

My wife and I with friends visited Cheltenham for the first time and stopped at the Premier Inn. We popped into the Regent Arcade and commented how spotlessly clean and bright it was. Limied choice of retailers.

Was at the theatre last night to see Merrill Osmond. As usual Merrill put on a fantastic show! Hopefully they will invite Merrill back again soon.
We had never been to this theatre before but wouldn't hesitate to go back, all staff we encountered were very friendly and polite. Very clean and welcoming place.

Had an amazing facial with Nicole. She explained about the products chosen and the benefits for my skin type. Very pleased with the results. Will be going more often.
