The theater department produces high quality productions that have been accepted into the Illinois High School Theater Festival.
The administration has had changes in recent years, and the current principal is extremely qualified and experienced, committed to making the school a supportive environment.
The speech and debate teams have recently grown and seen success in competitions against other schools in the Illinois area.
One of the worst parts is the vaping and smoking that goes on in the bathrooms. It often goes undetected despite faculty’s and administration’s efforts to prevent it.

Wheeling has a very diverse school, it’s a blending pot of many cultures. Wheeling preparation for students is great, engineering lab, nanotech lab, all amazing for the students future.
A lot of diversity in the school and teachers respect students and allow multiple stuff as well as being serious while teaching. Would love to see more school involvement with sports and activities as well as our spirit weeks, students need to open up more.
