Brigham Young University Reviews
Rating 4.6 out of 5 103 reviews
The best part of the program is the professors. The professors all have professional experience within the industry and always strive to hold their students to a high standard. With all their experience they give great advice about how to navigate the industry landscape and constantly present us with opportunities to network with professionals and gain exposure to various career paths.
The worst part of the program is several elective classes only offer one section for the class. Thus, if you wish to take an elective that overlaps with another elective you wish to take, you are out of luck. No other availability exists in the semester for that class. This makes it difficult to create a grad plan and to achieve the various emphases offered within the program.

I've had the opportunity to learn a lot about machine learning and deep learning, two fields that are incredibly applicable in today's AI run world. I've also been able to gain a deeper appreciation for mathematics and how it connects to all facets of life, from biological processes, to economic and political policies, and all complicated tech relies on mathematics in order to run correctly.
Brigham Young University's (BYU) School of Accountancy program is ranked top 3 in the nation in several categories and for a good reason. The difficulty and rigor of the program has already helped me earn a full-time position with one of the most prestigious accounting firms in the nation and complete two internships in public industry. BYU is one of best universities to attend for pursing a career in accounting.
