Trying to reset my password but the code isn't being sent to my Alt email address.

Hello,

I have been advised that my live.com password has been compromised and have been trying to reset the password for my Hotmail account

the phone number on my account is an old number, so SMS is not an option for me.

My alternative email addresses Gmail account.

I am using MS Edge Version 124.0.2478.97 .

Safari. Version 17.4.1

Google Chrome Version 124.0.6367.203

The link I am using is : https://account.live.com/password/reset

I have waited 24hrs with no code being sent.

Any ideas to fix this and reset my password would be welcome.

According to the official instructions, you can still visit outlook.com.
