It's easy to suspect this album to be of lesser interest by being adressed to kids, but after playing it through I must say the truth is the opposite! This kind old blind man, Doc Watson that is, really is in prime form and by giving his heart in trying to reach out to the young minds he both clarifies and concentrates the songs and music. The playing is excellent, very few songs get tedious even when the melody is as simple as possible, and the version of Tennessee Stud with "sound effects" is the best version I ever heard :)
