January-March

With average temperatures hovering in the 50s and 60s, winter may not be the time to lay on a beach chair and soak up some sun in Newport Beach. However, you can still enjoy everything else the city has to offer, including museums, art galleries and nature trails. Best of all, you'll probably be able to find cheaper hotel rates and won't have to wait in line at some of the city's main attractions.

April-June

The spring is full of festivals in the Newport Beach area. While Newport Beach is known for its inclement yet sunny weather, June can sometimes bring overcast days, which locals refer to as the "June Gloom." But, gray skies or not, you'll still find plenty of spring events to enjoy. Temperatures during this springtime period typically hover in the high 60s and low 70s.
