- The 2nd stop in my Who bootleg adventure. Got this one in nice enough shape for just $15! Wasn't expecting I Don't Even Know Myself to be a demo. The live Can't Explain/I'm A Boy/Happy Jack and the big booklet alone made it worth it for me. Glittering Girl is the same version I've heard on streaming and as a Sell Out bonus track (but with that sweet bootleg hiss added here). Was hoping Run Run Run would be the BBC version but it's the same demo (like Don't Look Away and Strip/Appetite) as on the I.B.C. Demos LP.
- i bought this lp back in 1982 when this came out, i remember this came with an insert but i dont have time to dig that out now, anyway some of these recordings where unavailable prior to the release of this boot BUT when the cd boom of the mid 80s hit i think its fair to say between bootleg cds and official releases all this stuff is out there now, still for its time this was and still is a great boot.......also as you can tell besides only 3 songs the rest are townshend home demos of some great stuff like run run run and to kill my appetite...................also do the strip still in 2015 have never been released officially....
