We walked around the building but it looked so uninteresting that we didn't go inside. It looks unfinished with lots of building work outside. It's not the shopping mall we thought it would be. Try the Berlin Mall not far away if you want shops.

It is a beautiful structure, especially at night. However, there is not more to see, just stores, restaurant and movies.

This building was right outside our hotel in Berlin and super cool.
It houses some shopping, a couple restaurants and bars, and a movie theater. It’s central atrium area is amazing and just a beautiful piece of engineering. It has large open air sections so it’s breezy and cool at night. Probably a bear in the winter but what isn’t! And it fits in with the more modern Potsdamerplatz area. It’s cool and worth strolling by if you have time.

Berlin is not short of impressive architecture and this modern structure is certainly one to visit after dark. Unless stopping for food, drink or a film then you probably won’t spend too much time here.

Right by Potsdamer Platz this was an easy shortcut for us to make. The architecture of the Sony Center roof is quite something.
There’s plenty of food and drink options too.

This is a hall with an impressive roof, entrance to the iMax, a water feature in the middle, and lots of bars and restaurants around the edge to con tourists.
Unless you want to watch a film or grab a very expensive drink then not much else to see.
Here is a photo to save you the time.

In Potsdamer Platz and close to the Mall of Berlin is the Sony Center.
The Sony Center is a 26 floor, glass and steel tower designed by Helmut Jahn. The glass roof looks like bicycle spokes that makes it stand out.
There is a cinema here but the shops in the plaza were underwhelming.

Certainly - catch a movie, visit the huge Sony store or just enjoy one of the numerous restaurants.

Are there intermissons? If so, for how long?
And also, is the starting time mentioned the actual start of the movie or of adverts and trailers?

Start time normally includes trailers and advertisements but it at all times. Intermission precedes main movie
