I love attending Indiana Wesleyan University. Coming in as a freshman and attending New Student Orientation was a great way to learn how to navigate campus, where to find my classes, get to know what some of the professors are like, and get to meet peers. Overall, NSO helps us freshman realize that we are not going through this change on our own, there are so many people in our corner right away to help us with anything that we need. Campus life is something that I personally love. I appreciate how homey and safe our campus is, the fact that we can leave our stuff somewhere and not worry about it getting stolen is great. We are all just one big family. I love the culture that our campus has. All staff and administrators are constantly looking for how to help us with anything that we may need and answer all of our questions. I seriously could not imagine going to another school!
I have received 2 degrees and I am working on my third through Indiana Wesleyan University. I would highly suggest this college to anyone, but especially students who have a deep belief in their Christian values. The format is wonderful and is great for working adults. The work life balance is very manageable And the professors are very kind and understanding! I have nothing but wonderful things to share about Wesleyan!
Indiana Wesleyan has a great community of students with teachers who genuinely care about the kids. There was not much of anything to do off campus or on the weekends. Because of this, most students went home or to other universities on the weekends. I enjoyed the people I met, but I will be attending another university in the fall. I would hope to see Indiana Wesleyan do some more things to encourage students to stay on weekends and have more oppertunities for fun college events and settings.
