How I feel victim to a Traderie scammer (Proof in the google doc below)

Story:
I was trying to trade for the Val20 halo on Traderie, I saw a listing for one that was free. I checked the profile and they had six 5 star reviews. Their bio said “ GiveAway Royale High and Adopy Me!!!!

Now I know it specifically says on Traderie to not click on any links, but I thought that this was fine because they were just promoting their channel. When you go to their channel there is a video and in the description their is a link to their “Roblox account.” This was the first red flag, I clicked on the link and it took me to a page that looked EXACTLY like roblox. Now that I was on the page it asked me to sign in, this was red flag #2 because I had already signed into roblox on the devices browser. The link brought me to a “Roblox profile” that had a bunch of limiteds and stuff, it said that they were online so I was eager to get into their lobby and win the giveaway. Since I wanted to get into their lobby and win the giveaway I decided to search their “roblox user” on my phone, their profile doesn’t come up. That was red flag #3, my stupid self decides that I’ll log in on the browser and follow them so I can join their game from my phone. That was the moment they had my log in information and gained access to my entire roblox account. They then changed the information on my account which locked me out. After that they logged into royale high, traded my stuff to their account, and left me with nothing, didn’t even give the account back. This is extra sad because not even FIVE HOURS earlier did I meet BeaPlays (one of my favorite rh YouTubers) in game. I had been trying to get her badge for months and I finally got it just hours before I fell victim to this.
Moral of the story, and I know we’ve all heard this 10,000,000 times, if it’s too good to be true then it probably is. Please guys, the rules are there for a reason. follow them, don’t be a loser like me.
Also looking at it now, the actual link was weird, notice the “mk” in that screenshot

So I came across something exactly like this recently and did a little deep dive to get some info.
The biggest sign I've seen is that the items are EXTREMELY cheap, I'm talking about things like a halo for 500 diamonds. They do this to get more attention from traders and hopefully increase their victims. After you accept/offer for a trade they have listed they send you a copy-pasta with a YouTube account linked (as mentioned in the post). You can't make comments on the videos and over the past few months it looks like they've started botting the accounts to make it seem more real. Once you've clicked the link in the description like OP did, it brings you to the fake website that has a system that tracks whatever you type in, and that's how they get usernames and passwords. The user is fake, and so is anything else they send you. Stay safe, and don't click outside links!

Girl, I feel so bad for you. I think what makes it real is that they ALWAYS have premium and have limited items. But remember, they are leading you to a FAKE roblox website so I love how they just try to make themselves rich by making it look like they are rich but in reality they probably don't even have roblox, OR they're just really poor. 😂
3/4 messages that were sent to me in traderie were the SAME SCAM all from different people. don't fall for these guys

This happend to me yesterday but they only took my legendarys on adopt the first thing i did was add touch id and face id i also added 2 step verification i also changed my passcode once i did that I went on my alt to level up and transfer all my items. I also realized when I was on there yet it wasn’t the new rh it was the older version so I wasnt so sure
I was literally about to log into my account on for the same reason but thought it was fishy because instead of “roblox” it was “robiox” in the link. I’m so glad i didn’t. I feel awful for you though, I have been scammed in the past but for very different reasons.
Was her name SwagyXD or smth? She just accepted my trade, and her website got taken down LOL

UGHHHH why didn't I see this post 4 hours ago. I also just got scammed/hacked the exact same way. Everything seemed legit though from them having a whole yt changed to the fake roblox website, I guess I truly needed to read the URL that they sent me. They only took my adopt me items which is fine since I don't play that game often. It still sucks though as I had many legendaries and limiteds.
THIS happened to me but thank God I becalm suspicious when I was inside the "fake roblox" and searched for traderie scams I found this I have learned its better to do it in the trading hub :) :(, I immediately changed my password and all thankfully it was not too late
Exactly I was so close to getting scammed, I was using my mom phone but luckily my mom has a anti virus thing that can detect scammy sites and it did what it was supposed to do and immediately notified me about it I got off the page super fast 😬
GUYS PUT A 2 STEP VERIFICATION IT SAVED MY LIFE FROM THIS SCAM
Tbh this happened the first time i was at traderie, i was so sceptical about it (since i already got hacked before) especially about the link, it had ".am" but I "logged in" anyways, LUCKILY After it said "pass incorrect" after my 3rd try (aka flashbacks of me being a 7 year old, putting my pass in a free robux and getting the exact same message) immediatly changed my pass which also made me put 2 step verification
Just noticed that all of the ones that put up a ton of free stuff and have 6 reviews or whatever with full stars, and that have a youtube video with a giveaway are usually scams. Don’t fall for them. If you want you can check and message if you can subscribe or whatever and exchange users without a link, if they don’t respond it’s probably a scam.

use this post as a lesson. free halos/rare items are almost always scams (YES, INCLUDING GIVEAWAYS AND CONTESTS)
NEVER click any links on traderie or anywhere in general (there are websites that check links for viruses and things like that).
if a user on traderie has a new account and is trading free halos/has only a few reviews written by sketchy users, DO NOT trust them.
if you can't find any background information on a user, if you cannot find them on roblox or if they have 0 friends, do not trust them.
you should never put in private information on a website directed from a link
DO:
- check the URL for mistakes or typos
- listen to traderie. there's a literal warning not to click on external links.
- BE SUSPICIOUS OF EVERYONE. EVEN IF THEY HAVE LOTS OF REVIEWS OR FRIENDS THAT SAY THEY ARE TRUSTED
DO NOT:
- try to use an alt account. (sounds like a good idea, but really, it isn't. especially if that alt is friends with your main
- just click on strange links in general

ONG that’s why all my adopt me legendaries are gone!! Thankfully they didn’t take my royale high stuff! And I reported them but nothing has happened so far
that’s what happened to me and they even changed my email on my account also so i’ve been having trouble getting my account back lol

this happened to me about a month ago. i lost all my adopt me legendaries and they wasted all my robux (about 2k) on some gamepass that they created. I tried searching up their user, but it got tagged, and i can’t report them. Still trying to get my sets back, since they didn’t change my pass.

thats why you need to look at each link carefully and read it. if you do click on it after inspecting, look if anything is suspicious in the opened page
There were so many red flags that I ignored, literally nothing in the link worked. The shop, their inventory, the homepage, it all said “404 Error” I just thought it was my wifi
Those are fake i been falling for this scams lots of times but i know how to works . when u click on the roblox link , see the tops sign if is called roblox not any other
Yep, after I was tracing my footsteps back I noticed that this website was “roblox.com.mk” I just wish I would’ve noticed sooner
I fell for this scam 2 weeks ago. Luckily I was online and quickly changed my pass. I never fell for those scams again
I fell for it because i wasn’t signed in, now I’m logged out of roblox on all my devices. (I have contacted roblox support and stuff but i’m only able to be online on my xbox) it actually had everything the same except .com was like .mx or something

I fell for this type of scam aswell, it was 7 months ago or the time when traderie used to still let you send links. but luckily i logged in an alt which had nothing on it. I hope you get your items back tho, pls be careful next time!
i wanted to trade for ryh items and i did everyting, the link ect.. but when i created my roblox account i put an email, thx god. I received an email in indonesian saying that soemone is on my account, in indonesia, i dirrectly changed the password, but then the scammer changed it too , and i changed it again and again and again , now i think am done. That was scary , i almost got scam
Please check most of these cause usually instead of "roblox" it may be "robloxii" or stuff like this. if it doesnt say roblox, dont click it. I hope u get ur account back :(

It took me like 1-2 days if it was only your royale high account that got hacked don't bother contacting roblox contact royale high support if you lost all your items, just make sure you still have access to your roblox account because I still had access to mine. If you don't have your password anymore then just wait for roblox and provide any information that they need from you. I only had access because I linked my phone number and had a pin to my account so I could easily recover mine.
i also had step verification but they still got in without it, but I’ve emailed roblox since they only cared about this thing on adopt me anyways so… and i never play adopt me anymore
