The suspect in Wednesday's deadly shooting of a news crew in Virginia filmed the horrifying attack and placed it on social media accounts shortly after gunning down a reporter and cameraman.

About 6:35 Wednesday morning, reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were killed while doing a live broadcast outside a shopping center in central Virginia for WDBJ-TV. The shooting was broadcast live.

First-person video of the shooting was posted on the Twitter account and Facebook page under the name Bryce Williams.  The suspect in the shooting was identified as Vester Lee Flanigan, who used an on-air name of Bryce Williams.  Williams was on the staff at WDBJ.

The video shows an outstretched arm holding the handgun and firing repeatedly at Parker as she tried to run away.

The shooter appeared to walk up to the victims and stand a few feet away from them while holding the weapon. The three, in the midst of a live TV interview, do not seem to notice the gunman, who doesn't start shooting until Ward points the camera at Parker and Gardner.

Parker is heard screaming and is seen running away as shots are fired. Roughly 15 shots can be heard, including several that were fired after the video goes dark.
