This is one of our most iconic landmarks, where every visit is as unique as the structure itself. Its excellent location and accessibility, amazing legacy, world-class facilities, staff and security come together to create a space fit for any event. Making it so much more than just a stadium.

Before the event

Take note of the gate opening times. Leave home early to clear security and ticket check-points.
Plan to take part in pre-event entertainment – it can get very festive!

Check the weather and dress accordingly. Umbrellas should be avoided as they are distracting and potentially dangerous during events.

Food and drink items are not permitted into the stadium and confiscated items will not be returned to the bearer. Not to worry though because food and drinks for all tastes are on sale in the stadium.

The stadium does not currently host any cash machines or electronic banking facilities, so before entering it please ensure that you have sufficient cash to purchase your desired items.

Purchase your tickets only at authorised outlets and online merchants. Ticket touting (i.e. the selling and purchases of tickets outside approved channels) is illegal.
Please note that tickets are generally not sold at the stadium on event days.
Make sure you have your tickets on hand before you leave home, as you will be refused entry without them.
At the event

Emergency medical assistance is on hand at all times. Just ask a uniformed staff or security member.

You may only smoke in designated smoking areas. Please respect the health of yourself and those around you.

Please take care of your children and personal belongings at all times.

Event and stadium related information can also be obtained at the Visitor Welcome Centre.

Disabled facilities are reserved solely for disabled guests and their assistants and are located on level 02.

Lost and found services are at the Visitors’ Welcome Centre.

Please note, we do not allow pass-outs during events. Have a safe and happy time at the event.

Security and guest relations officers are at hand on event days to assist with direction, ticketing and seating, transport and traffic information.

You will find public toilets on Level 00 and Level 06.

Facilities for people with disabilities
The stadium has disabled seats which can be accessed via the all access ramp on Fritz Sonnenberg Road. Seating for guests and their caregivers is located on level 02 (podium).
Disabled toilets are available exclusively for our guests with disabilities and are located on level 02.
Disabled seating and parking facilities, may be booked through the event organizer for each event.
Public transport services and parking facilities for the disabled may differ from event to event. Please visit our events page for event specific details.
EElevators in all foyers provide wheelchair access to our business, banqueting and hospitality levels and facilities.
