The clip premiered at the opening of her Trilogy arena tour
Multi-platinum alternative-pop phenom Melanie Martinez has unveiled the official music video for “Light Shower,” which she directed and costume-designed. She premiered the clip at the opening date of her Trilogy Tour in Seattle on Friday (May 10th).
The song can be found on Martinez’s 2023 album Portals, her highest charting debut on the Billboard 200 at No. 2. Martinez unveiled the video at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena on Friday night, after wrapping the opening show of her biggest tour to date.
The arena tour showcases the evolution of Martinez’s alter ego, “Cry Baby,” performed live. Audiences can expect hits from all three of her Top 10 groundbreaking albums: Cry Baby, K-12, and Portals which have collectively amassed over 15.5 billion streams worldwide.
The tour continues with dates across North America and Europe through October. In addition to her headline tour, Martinez will also have festival performances at Bonnaroo on June 15th, Lollapalooza on August 4th, and Osheaga on August 2nd.
