Let me begin by saying that I'm a person whose skin doesn't pick up scents easily. They need to be strong scents or I can't detect the notes. It's a real bummer and I can't calculate how much money I've wasted on perfumes. This one I was really looking forward to since I love sweet fragrances. But it didn't work for me at all. I can pick up a faint sweet scent but don't detect any notes. It smells like sugar water to me. If your skin is like mine and inexpensive fragrances don't work well for you, I do not recommend this fragrance.

Quietly sweet...

I'm trying this one because I always like to try new things. This is a subtle gourmand scent, and I feel like getting into gourmands more these days. I'm not one to judge a celebrity fragrance either, and this one isn't a bad fragrance at all. it find it not as sweet as other fragrances (like Britney Spears Fantasy).

This one isn't cloying at all. It's subtle, it's sweet, and it's grown up. The projection and longevity is not great, so you can spray more if you prefer. I get a vanillic, slightly caramel vibe, with hints of apple. There are other notes, but those are the main ones to me. I also get a light touch of florals, and the whole fragrance has a light, balanced, sweet and airy feel. It is grown up, and doesn't feel "girlish" but more womanly, just always in a sweet, subtle way, keeping a sweet touch throughout. It's cheap and if you're into gourmands try it out.
