6/8/10/12 tuned up to Exit Stage Left, or at least in the ballpark. Snare too. Neil’s drum sound on that record is one of my all-time faves! He is so spot on on ESL! Tom mounts aren’t locking in and keep slipping .. (u can see the 6 slipping) it gets annoying and hard to focus

6/8/10/12 all sprayed up! I also sprayed the inside a bit because 3 of the 4 were charred and black. There are tons of inconsistencies on the shells. But they’re way better than they were! I didn’t bother sanding / priming etc.. just cleaned them as best I could and then sprayed.

Cleaned up the Natal snare. Used it in the last cpl drum vids. I tried to tune it to Neil’s Exit Stage Left pitch. I’ll do a snare vid soon. Sprayed the 6/8/10/12 toms n 2nd kik drum hoops w Rustoleum Cherry- they were the only ones that needed it. In the final stretch🥁👍🏼

Yrs before the fire they flew out the back of a trailer. The tech forgot to lock the door & we went up a hill & the bumps opened the door & the kit slid out down the hill! Rock & roll Spinal Tap style!🤪

Gettin’ jazzy with it… “Mr Traditional Grip”… March ‘80. Leedy Blue Satin Flame 12/14/20/5x14 Old Faithful/ 13 no name blue sparkle tom. Heads off the bottoms based on my 12 year old mind that they would be louder as now the sound can really shoot out of the shells! 🥁👍🏼

Pearl Vinnie Paul 8x14 Sig Snare; a gift from him in 2006. Check out the “before cleaned” shot. Great crack, & tone! DDrum 6.5x14 hammered. The Leopard! No badge or serial #. From ‘08. Sounds great! Ludwig 5x14 Acrolite. Not sure what year it is.

DDrum 6.5x14 Stainless Steel from around 2008. This thing is heavy! Heaviest drum I own! There’s no logo or badge on it. No serial #. Not one bit of info on it at all?? Maybe it was some prototype they sent me. I can’t remember. Tuned it up, it sounds great! 👍🏼🥁

Vinnie Paul’s Pearl snare he sent me back in 06. This one was scorched in a fire I had. I knew Vinnie since ‘92. Loved everything about his drumming and Pantera! Killer groove, parts, precision, consistency!!
