In Hawks's short time in the My Hero Academia anime, and his ever-growing complex nature in the manga, he has become a fan-favorite character due to his laid back personality that seems to simply be enjoying life. Hawks is the new "number 2" hero since All Might's departure from the scene, which means he was always tailing Endeavor as the third-best hero.

Hawks has huge, beautiful red wings that he can pull apart to use each individual feather as he pleases, oftentimes using them as a projectile weapon. His color palette is full of golds and reds and is just filled with utter warmth. Fans already cannot wait to see more of him in the next season.

The linework of the piece also totally brings it to life and makes Hawks look like the superhero he is.

Hawks is half-burned by Dabi's flames which is why artbytess has called him a "Burnt Chicken" since his wings are burning off and his hair and face have been singed by the flames.

Nikittysan on ArtStation has created an amazing piece that makes Hawks and his feathers look totally lifelike. The warmth in his clothes, glasses, hair, and feathers-along with the sparks that seem to be surrounding the edges of the picture-make Hawks look like he is some kind of flame bird which is just so incredibly cool.

On the opposite end, this amazing fan art done by Twitter user @mirshroom, paints Hawks in a totally cool light. The overlaying blue tones bounce off Hawks eyes, glasses, and feathers to paint him in a darker light. The cooler tone makes him appear at ease, relaxed after a long day's work. The small smirk he gives to the viewer manages to capture his personality perfectly, and the slight tilt of his head shows how lazy he likes to pretend he is.

This piece is just so Hawks, it is perfect. The fan art was done by Reddit user, pononomi and they managed to perfectly capture this bird boy and his personality. Here, Hawks is in a relaxed flying pose as he falls from the sky. Obviously, by now Hawks is an excellent flyer and has learned to deal with the different winds in the sky and learns how to fly each one. The blue of the sky also compliments Hawks's color palette.

The reds, golds, and oranges match with Hawks's hair, feathers, and outfits. The coloring work on this piece is just super nice and almost gives it a watercolor vibe to it.

This fan art by Joanne Kim on ArtStation is just so warm and really captures an amazing side of Hawks. Fans rarely get to see Hawks without his iconic visor and headphones, so in this piece, we get to see his natural expression. His hair and fur cuff on his glove looks so incredibly soft and fluffy, viewers can almost feel the texture of it all through the screen. Hawks also seems to have a natural glow around him, embodying the sun.
