Hi all,
I followed the instructions at Visit Japan (https://www.vjw.digital.go.jp/) and all seems ok. But I assume I should have a QR code to show Japanese customs. Is this sent only while I am in Japan? I ask as I can't see any QR code currently on my digital form.

When you complete the Visit Japan Web, the QR is available instantly on your website or apps.
sorry Solomani, the QR code is available on your profile on the Visit Japan Web site.
There is not a Visit Japan Wed app available.

57 helpful votes You have to click a button that says "Display QR code" to generate the QR code on the WEB.
There is a section available to check the display QR code. If you want to turn the website into an app, the guidelines are available in the VJW manual. It is easier to use via apps.
Thanks, all; I missed a step, so I was registered but didn't actually do immigration. All good, working now. I assume, because I did my whole family under my name, that 1 QR code is normal (expected)?
Also, when I tested it offline, it still asked for a network. Apart from adding the shortcut is there another step? instructions are sparse (iphone). Thanks.

57 helpful votes Screen capture the QR code and save it in your photo library. That way you will always have your QR code even if there is no WiFi or network.
Is it okay that I applied on my computer and took a photo of the QR code with my mobile?
