Notes
Per The Jazz Discography Ver 14, James recorded Stompin' At The Savoy for Columbia on December 29, 1947 in Hollywood, CA, and it was released on Columbia 4PE9 and CK45447. Per liner notes on Columbia CK45447, this cut was not originally assigned a matrix number. In 1954, the master lacquer was re-equalized with added reverberation and the performance was released on a special issue for DJ use only. The work tape and lacquer were then destroyed.
