You don't have to kill for the truck, I take cash. I currently own 3 of the 4 trucks used in the movie by Gerard Butler. The 4th was destroyed. If anyone has any questions about the trucks, let me know. Thanks.

Nice to hear :) Can you tell us what models these trucks are (C-10, C-20, etc)? What trim they might be and what model years? Any info that you have at all you can post here.

Hey guys,

Sorry it's been a while I was really busy trying to juggle the Gamer trucks, Barricade from Transformers (the Mustang Saleen), and some Fast and Furious cars. Anyway I DO actually own the gamer trucks and any info you want I can provide. They are 1973 C-20s heavily modified of course.

Fate, if you are still interested, or if anyone else is, you can go ahead and reply here (I will try and remember to check back) or better yet email me at Notdads@aol.com . Fate, I would email you, but I can't find your email anywhere so... I hope this reaches you.

Hello, Notdads Moive Cars, thank you for the information. :) I suspected when I first uploaded captures from the theatrical trailer that the truck was a C-Series.

Do you happen to know if the C-20 has the factory Eaton automatic locking rear differential, or is it a standard open unit?

Thanks for replying back Notdads. Do you happen to know what trim these trucks were equipped with?

Hey guys,

The truck is up on eBay... I have had several IMCDBers contact me regarding the truck and possible purchase so I figure it's only fair to post the link here so everyone can see... lot's of good info on the truck and pictures. Send in your offers if you are interested... no serious offer will be overlooked. Hope this provides some more info some of you were looking for.

Not to nitpick, but you have the model name wrong on the listing :whistle:

According to the VIN: CCY243Z184873

C = Chevrolet

C = C (rear-wheel drive)

Y = 5.7 liter pushrod 350 CID small block V-8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor (it had one of the nicer engines from the factory)

2 = 20 Series (three quarter-ton truck)

4 = Pick-up

3 = 1973 model year

Z = Built at Fremont Assembly (Fremont California)

The following number: 184873 is the build number in sequence.

Why? I preferred the old one... (also, it was HD quality)

(did you update the time-tag or is 00:45:43 still for the old pic?)

Updated... now ;)

Yes, it was HD, but from rear and without visible fancy wheels. :)

Jale wrote but from rear

it gave a more "in action" style

Jale wrote and without visible fancy wheels. :)

That's what I liked better in the old pic :lol:

But "in action" mostly in the shadow. :p

I like those wheels, as they are not chromed, so not bright and "flashy".

I'm gonna try that. Get arseholed and then piss in the tank of an ethanol fueled truck. Save me some money next time i need to fill up.
