Notes
Tracks 1-5 recorded May, 1968 at the "Lila Eule", Bremen, Germany.
Originally issued on BRO (BRÖ) Records in 1968 in a limited edition, reissued on FMP Records in 1972.
Track 6 recorded March 24, 1968, live at the Frankfurt Jazz Festival.
Remastered at Experimental Sound Studio, Chicago.
Special Thanks to Jost Gebers.
For this reissue, we have resequenced the CD identically to the original LP, self-produced and released on Brötzmann's own BRO (BRÖ) label in 1968, followed by the two extant alternative takes. For comparison, UMS has also included the live version, recorded two months earlier at the Frankfurt Jazz Festival.
Some copies came with the back sticker on the cellophane, some did not.
