Principal's Message

Nate Artino
Principal - BHS

Welcome to our website. Bellevue High School is built on rich traditions that date back to our first graduating class in 1870. Whether it is through our academic achievements, extra-curricular successes or community service projects, we have always prided ourselves on the history and traditions that were forged by those who came before us. It is my great pleasure to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful and successful high school. It is equally pleasurable to call Bellevue High School my alma mater.

Bellevue High School offers a wide-range of courses for our students. We have a comprehensive career programming curriculum for all students, including a Career and Workforce Development Specialist. Students have the opportunity to earn college credit through a variety of programming options, including College Credit Plus, Advanced Placement and articulated college credit. In addition, our elective courses offer very diverse opportunities for our students.

Bellevue High School is proud to be deeply committed to excellence in all areas while also pushing forward to best prepare our students for success beyond our walls. A major component of this commitment is through our career and college readiness initiatives, which also include ensuring our students are knowledgeable in the application and use of technology and a variety of skills necessary in today's global world.

Our diverse extra-curricular and athletic offerings also give our students a wide-range of opportunity and experiences. Whether it is leadership, initiative or playing a role, these experiences allow our students to grow and develop themselves in and out of the classroom and then be applied well beyond high school.

Community is another important facet to the history and tradition of Bellevue High School. We strongly believe in giving back to our community, as evidenced through a variety of our service projects and programs. To learn more about our high school, click here to view our informational brochure.

If you and your student are not already a part of our school district, we strongly encourage you to consider making it the place to raise your family and/or educate your child.  If we can ever be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
