Alabama Basketball Officially Updates 2023-24 Roster With Jersey Numbers, Height and Weight

After a historic showing in 2022-23, Alabama basketball was faced with a daunting task in the offseason: Replacing touted assistant coaches Bryan Hodgson, Charlie Henry and Antoine Pettway, and retooling a depleted roster hit with unexpected transfers and draft declarations. 

On paper, it appears they did just that — and more. 

On Monday, the team officially announced jersey numbers for nine newcomers to the program and listed each player's measured height and weight. 

Offseason Transfer Additions

South Dakota State transfer forward Grant Nelson was listed at 6'11, 235 pounds. Nelson will wear No. 2. 

Cal State Fullerton transfer guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr. was listed at 6'3, 189 pounds. Wrightsell Jr. will wear No. 12. 

West Virginia transfer forward Mohamed Wague was listed at 6'10, 225 pounds. Wague will wear No. 11.

Hofstra transfer guard Aaron Estrada was listed at 6'3, 195 pounds. Estrada will wear No. 55. 

2023 Recruiting Class Additions:

Four-star freshman forward Sam Walters was listed at 6'10, 198 pounds. Walters will wear No. 24. 

Four-star freshman forward Jarin Stevenson was listed at 6'11, 207 pounds. Stevenson will wear No. 15.

Four-star freshman guard Kris Parker was listed at 6'9, 185 pounds. Parker will wear No. 0. 

Four-star freshman forward Mouhamed Dioubate was listed at 6'7, 215 pounds. Dioubate will wear No. 15. 

Returning Players:

Senior guard Mark Sears was listed at 6'1, 185 pounds. Sears will wear No. 1.

Sophomore guard Rylan Griffen was listed at 6'5, 180 pounds. Griffen will wear No. 3. 

Redshirt-freshman guard Davin Cosby Jr. was listed at 6'5, 193 pounds. Cosby Jr. will wear No. 4. 

Senior forward Nick Pringle was listed at 6'11, 230 pounds. Pringle will wear No. 23. 

Walk-ons:

Senior forward Max Scharnowski was listed at 6'6, 205 pounds. Scharnowski will wear No. 31. 

Sophomore guard Kai Spears was listed at 6'2, 160 pounds. Spears will wear No. 32.

Freshman forward Ward Harrell was listed at 6'7, 215 pounds. Harrell will wear No. 33.
