Sarah Bonito

Sarah Bonito (ペリーセーラ緑, Perī Sēra Midori) is the lead vocalist of the bilingual band Kero Kero Bonito. Her legal name is Sarah Midori Perry.

Sarah is of Japanese and British descent. She spent half of her childhood in Japan & had previously recorded with a Japanese girl group.

Gus and Jamie (KKB’s other members) wanted to work with someone who could speak Japanese and posted an advertisement on MixB, an online bulletin board for Japanese expatriates. Sarah was one of the first respondents. They selected her based on her background in art and the aforementioned girl group. Besides KKB, she creates art on her social media.
